I created this book as a personal project about a group of friends in Berlin. Except for one person all were coming from the same small town from eastern Germany - but not all of them had known each other before. Therefore I got interested in how the factor of "home/hometown" plays a role in choosing a new group of people in a big city like Berlin. Based on empirical research I created and designed this book.
